We are seeking a qualified and experienced Truck Technician to join our team at Just Automotive Recruitment. Our client is a reputable dealership group in Australia and New Zealand, known for its fast growth and dynamic work environment.

Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour + 17%-18% Shift loading

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to perform Service and Repair work on heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical diagnostics
  • Record job cards accurately and follow warranty repair procedures
  • Ensure all repair times are recorded accurately
  • Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Heavy vehicle qualification or Light vehicle technician qualification
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • HR license preferred but not essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities

Benefits:

  • AM Shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm
  • PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Saturdays available + overtime opportunity
  • Paid dual qualification opportunity
