About the Role

We are seeking an IT Support Officer to join our Brisbane office. This role will focus on providing technical assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, triaging, and resolving technical incidents related to Windows, web applications, business systems, networking issues, and other IT-related problems.
  • Following standard operating procedures to fulfill requests, including staff administration and new equipment deployment.
  • Imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, and shipping them to various locations.
  • Managing assets, including records keeping, tracking assets through their lifecycle, and auditing.
  • Participating in the rotating on-call roster.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or higher in a business or information technology field.
  • Previous experience as an IT Service Desk Specialist.
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Practical application of Microsoft O365 software application functions and technologies.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
