About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Lawyer to join our team at Holding Redlich. As a key member of our Queensland Property practice, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions, including:

  • Acquisitions and disposals of commercial, industrial, and retail properties
  • Hotels and resorts transactions
  • Energy transition and renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery projects
  • Joint ventures
  • Titling advice for residential and commercial property developments
  • Environmental offset arrangements
  • Infrastructure agreements
  • Regulatory approvals
  • Project financing
  • Foreign Investment approval advice and applications

You will work closely with our clients, including international and domestic renewable energy developers, listed real estate investment trusts, large commercial property owners, property developers, and hotel and resort owners. Our team has seen excellent growth in recent times, and we are looking to add further to the team.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 4-7 years of post-admission experience practicing as a commercial property lawyer, including exposure to renewable energy matters
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Experience in running files alongside senior lawyers as well as autonomously
  • A keen interest in mentoring and training junior team members
  • Comfortable working closely with clients
  • An eagerness to get involved with industry events and business development opportunities
  • Ability to juggle multiple matters and prioritize effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
