Job Title: Tile Machine Operator

About the Role:

As a skilled tile machine operator, you will be responsible for operating multiple machines and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with 5S Standards.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Operating multiple machines to meet production demands.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to 5S Standards in the work area.
  • Executing profile changeovers efficiently.
  • Conducting quality control checks to ensure product excellence.
  • Fault finding and resolving issues promptly.
  • Recording data on quality sheets to track performance.
  • Conducting oil level checks and monitoring raw material feed.
  • Identifying and rejecting defective products to maintain product integrity.
  • Overseeing the extrusion process to meet high standards.
  • Providing training to new operators and assisting in other roles when necessary.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of recycle conveyors and performing asset care.
  • Upholding high standards of housekeeping and contributing to a safe working environment.

About You:

  • Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or technical role.
  • A strong commitment to safety awareness and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
