Heavy Plant Operator Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Plant Operator to join our team.

This hands-on role involves operating various types of heavy plant, including compactors, traxcavators, excavators, dozers, material handlers, and driving heavy rigid trucks for landfill, resource recovery, and waste collection activities.

The new landfill cell will serve the community for 20 years, offering meaningful work, stability, and long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy plant machinery such as compactors, traxcavators, excavators, dozers, and material handlers.
  • Drive heavy rigid trucks for waste collection and transportation.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with 38 hours per week.
