Senior Judicial Support Officer to the Honourable Justice Craig

This is an exceptional opportunity to support the Honourable Justice Craig in handling commercial and corporate matters. The role involves high-level legal research, drafting court orders, managing administrative tasks, and acting as chambers' first point of contact.
About The RoleThe successful applicant will have a strong academic record, excellent research skills, and the ability to work efficiently and professionally with members of the legal profession, the Court, and the public.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting high-level legal research;
- Drafting and proofreading documents, including reasons for judgment, papers, and presentations;
- Managing administrative tasks, including Judge Managed Lists;
- Liaising with other judges, Court staff, and the public;
- Performing duties as an Associate in court – electronically and in person.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong academic record and excellent research skills;
- Effective communication and time management skills;
- Able to work collaboratively within a small team environment;
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Interest in commercial law and a career in the judiciary.
This role offers invaluable experience across the Commercial Court and close observation of the work of a judge and counsel. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and challenging environment.
