Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Services Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to fast-track their career, manage their own portfolio and lead a dedicated team of professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as they will be managing a large and growing client base.

About You:

  • You will have completed your CA/CPA and have a minimum 5 years + experience within an accounting firm
  • You will have extensive knowledge in providing specialist taxation advice to a broad range of clients with large turnovers
  • You will have strong technical background in business services, taxation and/or superannuation
  • You will have a positive and proactive attitude

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage compliance work for the client portfolio
  2. Workflow management, including drafting invoices, timesheet completion, monitoring work-in-progress, determining write-offs and assistance in receivables/debt collection
  3. Liaise with clients in a face-to-face meeting or by phone
  4. Assistance with identifying new business opportunities
  5. Review financial accounts and tax returns for all type of entities
  6. Prepare financial statements for businesses
  7. Prepare management reports upon clients' request, including cash flow statement, cash flow analysis, budgeting, working capitals, break-even analysis, etc.
  8. Tax compliance review and tax planning
