Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative all-rounder to join our social enterprise cafe. This is not an average role, as we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and barista skills to create a unique and socially conscious experience.

You will play a critical part in helping us build an impactful social enterprise business while mentoring and providing hands-on training for at-risk young people to set them on a path to sustainable employment beyond our cafe.

This position will be based at our newest cafe located at the Victorian Pride Centre and the Alfred.

  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • High-quality barista skills
  • Personality, creativity, and individuality
  • Exceptional customer service and a genuine care for customers
  • Passion for social change and enthusiasm for mentoring disadvantaged young people

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven barista experience (ideally 2+ years)
