About the Role

CYOS Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Developer to join our team. As a Senior Automation Developer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of high-quality solutions in support of business and technical automation test requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis, design, and development of new capabilities within the automation framework.
  • Solve highly complex problems and deliver high-quality test automation solutions.
  • Perform high-level analysis of technical requirements to support automation evaluation with proposed solutions.
  • Undertake technical design and development of highly complex custom solutions and/or standard conversion and migration solutions.
  • Manage the deployment release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance of the Branch automation changes.
  • Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the Subject Matter Expert and provide assistance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with endorsed software development methodologies.
  • Provide support to multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality custom solution realisation.
  • Report on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators, and quality assurance in the area of responsibility.
  • Prepare and review a range of automation written material which may include technical and corporate documentation.
  • Provide detailed, specialist automation technical advice to senior management where appropriate.
  • Support automation innovation and lead change.
  • Encourage and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months working experience in an Agile Environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Automation Developer.

Desirable Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience/skills in developing Automation frameworks, test scripts, using applications and tools such as, but not limited to: GitLAB, Cucumber, Gattling, and Selenium.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring staff in the use of Automation tools, execution, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop automation Java scripting of complex test cases.
  • Demonstration of very good communication with a range of stakeholders, from Business/Technical backgrounds to senior management. This includes verbal, presentations, and technical documentation.
