Support Workers Needed

Bethanie, a leading not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider, has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for over 65 years.

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to provide daily support to residents at our Waters Aged Care Facility. This state-of-the-art facility offers a secure area for local residents with dementia or similar conditions.

The Role:
  • Assess resident plans and ensure their needs are met
  • Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
  • Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
  • Ensure residents' rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
About You:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
  • Willingness to uphold our Mission, Vision and Values
  • Experience using ICare or similar computer package highly regarded
