About the PositionThe role involves delivering a comprehensive social work support service to students and families in an educational environment. The successful applicant will be an experienced professional who can work effectively as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team to improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver individual and group sessions, counselling and case management to students and families;
- Develop and implement programs to promote student wellbeing, engagement and academic achievement;
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals to identify and address student needs;
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to student wellbeing;
- Provide guidance and support to students, staff and parents on issues related to student wellbeing;
Key skills required for this position include:
- Ability to deliver a comprehensive social work support service to students and families;
- Demonstrated knowledge of current best-practice interventions for students with support needs;
- Capacity to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team;
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of students.
