Imagery Specialist Role

The Australian Army Reserve is seeking a highly skilled Imagery Specialist to join their team. As an Imagery Specialist, you will be responsible for capturing and delivering high-quality visual content to support the Army's communication and public affairs efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture professional quality photos and videos of ADF operations, training exercises, international engagement and other activities
  • Process and upload imagery quickly to meet news media deadlines
  • Edit short and engaging videos for social media platforms
  • Provide photography and videography training to ADF members and military personnel from other countries
  • Offer advice to Public Affairs Officers and commanders on opportunities and requirements for capturing newsworthy imagery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian citizenship
  • Be at least 17 years old when entering the ADF
  • Completed Year 10 education with passes in English and Mathematics
  • Reasonable fitness and health
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • Certificate IV in photography or equivalent qualification/relevant industry experience

Training and Development:
