Job Title: Service Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to join our team as a Service Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, and families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Residential Care Practitioners and Youth Workers, coordinating the day-to-day operations of our residential care service for young people living in out of home care.

You will provide mentoring, coaching, and supervision to teams in alignment with the CARE model for practice and ensure our service is working in accordance with the CARE model.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Social Science
  • Experience incorporating the six CARE Principals when supporting Children and Young People
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team that works with children and youth within a therapeutic care environment who have suffered abuse or neglect and are on statutory child protection or juvenile justice orders
  • A Current Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • A QLD Driver's Licence
  • First Aid and CPR Qualifications
