Job Overview

At NRMA Parks and Resorts, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Waterways Explorer to lead our kayak adventure tours in the stunning landscapes of Freycinet National Park.

As a Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a safe, educational, and memorable experience while exploring the park's remote, wild places.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct kayak tours with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Maintain knowledge of risk management practices and apply them effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Work effectively as part of a busy team and contribute to the success of our kayak tours.
  • Possess a current Workplace 2 First Aid certificate and a valid manual Motor Vehicle Drivers license.
  • Knowledge of Tasmania's natural and cultural history is beneficial.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context.
  • Possess a current Tasmanian Work With Vulnerable People Card.
  • Qualification in Enclosed Sea Kayak Certification or A Sea Guide Certification is highly desirable.
