We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Venue Manager to lead the operations of a revitalized historic performance venue.

The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in operations at performing art venues, including supervising positions. They will be responsible for planning the operations of the venue, including back and front of house, maintenance, conservation works, budgeting, and other general operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing plans to ensure the readiness of the venue
  • Working with project management teams and consultants in venue planning
  • Collaborating with development teams to explore partnership and other development opportunities for the venue
  • Liaising between the planning team and theatre stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heritage conservation and/or work experience in a historic performance venue. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a proven track record in budget planning and execution.
