Job Description

As a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures. You will also act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.

You will work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Strong coaching/training skills.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
