Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Law Specialist - Practical Guidance Writer
LexisNexis is a leading provider of legal, regulatory, and business information and analytics that help customers increase their productivity, improve decision-making, achieve better outcomes, and advance the rule of law around the world.
We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity and data privacy lawyer to develop and maintain high-quality up-to-date practical legal content for our Practical Guidance product. As a part-time role, this position will provide support to Relationship Managers and sales staff to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.
The primary purpose of this role is to create and maintain practical guidance notes, checklists, precedents, and legal updates on cybersecurity and data privacy law. This will involve quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content, as well as maintaining close relationships with the market to stay up-to-date with current trends and practices.
In addition to developing and maintaining content, you will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with external authors/advisors, developing and maintaining relationships with legal professionals to ensure best practice and jurisdictional expertise, and supporting Engagement Managers and customer relationship managers to understand customers' needs.
This role requires excellent communication and plain-English writing skills, as well as the ability to adapt to new practice areas and build and foster relationships with a range of diverse clients and local and international stakeholders. We offer a flexible working arrangement and the opportunity to work from home.
