Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for diverse building services projects.

  • Design electrical systems for various building services projects.
  • Deliver detailed designs for all elements of Electrical engineering, design, and documentation.
  • Participate in project phases from tender preparation to construction support.
  • Engage with clients throughout a project's lifecycle.
  • Perform electrical calculations, load analysis, system modeling, and return briefs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on diverse engineering projects.
  • Take on increasing project leadership responsibilities to refine project leadership skills.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, documentation, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct site inspections, commissioning activities, and oversee project implementation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Own project deliverables and client relationships.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in building services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and design tools.
  • Professional registration or eligibility for registration preferred.
