Electrical Design Engineer

This is a senior role that involves leading the electrical design of Data Centers across Asia Pacific. As part of our cross-functional team, you will work on creating innovative solutions to enhance market-leading reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and respond to evolving user requirements.
  • Develop data center electrical designs in collaboration with other disciplines to create coordinated construction documents.
  • Participate in site selection reviews.
  • Design critical data center equipment including MV infrastructure, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, and earthing.
  • Ensure designs meet or exceed quality standards and are delivered within budget.
  • Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify suitable electrical equipment.
  • Collaborate with local utilities to define site utility requirements.
  • Comply with IEC requirements and APAC-wide design codes.
  • Review and approve equipment submittals.
  • Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to and during construction phases.
  • Collaborate with commissioning teams to test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
  • Travel to sites for site reviews and collaborate with onsite field engineers.
