Job Title: Product Design Engineer

As a skilled product design engineer, you will play a vital role in creating detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings that directly impact the development and production of our products.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for designing and developing accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality designs that meet our company standards and requirements.
  • You will also be involved in reviewing and improving drawing templates, documentation standards, and drafting processes to support production efficiency and quality.
  • In addition, you will produce layout assemblies, detailed parts, and bills of materials in line with company standards.
  • You may also be required to support the development of jigs, fixtures, and assembly layouts, and document any changes for production and support product validation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of conveyor components and frames using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Review and improve drawing templates, documentation standards, and drafting processes to support production efficiency and quality.
  • Produce layout assemblies, detailed parts, and bills of materials in line with company standards.
  • Support development of jigs, fixtures, and assembly layouts and document any changes for production and support product validation activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to clarify specifications and provide drafting support for customer proposals.
  • Occasionally visit customer or site locations for familiarisation, measurements, and to support commissioning or troubleshooting.
