Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solid Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality plastering work, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing damaged plaster surfaces, restoring finishes on existing structures, and ensuring all work is completed in line with safety standards and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and restore plaster surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
- Mix and apply plaster, render, or other materials to achieve the desired consistency and finish.
- Filling joints and holes with wet plaster or sealing compounds, then smoothing and finishing using wet brushes and sandpaper.
- Ensuring walls and ceilings are plumb and straight, including corners and angles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Solid Plasterer (minimum 2 years full-time or equivalent part-time/casual experience).
- In-depth knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Full working knowledge of safety practices on construction sites.
- Drivers Licence and Construction White Card.
