We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plasterer/Renderer to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering and rendering services on various projects.

About the Role:
  • Taking accurate measurements of plasterboard, cutting, and marking it for installation
  • Finding and resolving plasterboard layout and other barriers
  • Roughening undercoat with scratcher to provide bond for succeeding coats of plaster
  • Creating decorative textures in finish coat using brushes and trowels or pebbles
  • Covering joins and nail holes with wet plasters and smoothing them with wet brushes and sandpaper
  • Straightening or levelling uneven corners, walls, and ceilings
  • Making corner beads and securing them in correct position
  • Rendering outside walls
  • Lifting and positioning panels accurately and securing them to walls
  • Directing workers to mix plaster to desired consistency
Key Requirements:
  • AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, or at least two years of relevant experience to substitute formal qualification
