Job Title: Plant Sales Professional

Job Description:

This is a casual role that involves sales, customer service and general nursery duties at one of our Wholesale Trade Markets.

  • Sales and customer service responsibilities include communicating with customers, handling transactions and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Plant consultation services are also provided to customers seeking advice on plant selection and care.
  • The role requires the ability to accurately scan stock, process payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaising with suppliers is an essential part of this role to ensure the timely delivery of products.
  • General nursery duties include weeding, watering, merchandising, grounds maintenance and using trade equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Possession of a passion for plants: A high level of knowledge in botanical plant identification and/or horticulture experience is highly desirable.

Customer Service Skills: A high level of customer service skills is required, with a proactive approach to solving queries and resolving issues efficiently.

Computer Ability: Confident computer ability at intermediate standards is necessary for efficient task completion.

Accountability and Urgency: Accountability for tasks with a sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail is essential.

Positive Work Ethic: A positive work ethic with the ability to effectively work unsupervised as well as in a team is required.
