Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the adoption of cloud practices and elevate our team's capability in designing and implementing secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.

About the Role:
  • Design and Develop: Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure environments for large and complex products through automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates.
  • Implement Standards: Implement, develop, and document standards, processes, and frameworks to support modern DevOps release deployments across all stages and iterations of the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead System Design: Lead system design activities for strategic, large, and complex systems development programmes, developing effective implementation strategies consistent with specified requirements, architectures, and constraints of performance and feasibility.
  • Information Security: Apply sound advice and guidance on Information Security practices to ensure that cloud solutions deployed are secure by design and embedded into solution architecture.
  • Integration and Risk Management: Lead integration work in line with agreed system and service design, measure and monitor applications against development standards, assess risks, and take preventative action.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Provide advice and guidance on test planning and executing, adopting modern testing methods, automated tools, and techniques to ensure high-quality DevOps practices.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather requirements and identify functional needs through business consultation and collaboration, define and implement cloud solutions as required.
  • Tech Knowledge and Trends: Remain up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, evaluate benefits of adopting them into our department, implement, and drive adoption.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud security, access controls, and privacy compliance/regulations, collaborate with Security teams to implement controls and maintain a high, compliant security posture.
