This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Employment Services Liaison. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in connecting job-ready clients with employment opportunities that match their skills and aspirations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a willingness to contribute to a positive culture across all workplaces, and high-level professionalism, attention to detail, and compliance-focused attitude. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date labor market information and developing strategies to support and meet demands of shortage sectors.

You will also be responsible for managing vacancies attained from employers, including vacancy assessment, advertising, pre-screening, and referring suitable candidates. Additionally, you will provide support and advice to employers on training and ongoing employment support provided from our organisation, including departmental wage subsidies and incentives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Labour Market Analysis: Conduct regular labour market analysis to identify trends and developments that affect employment opportunities.
  • Candidate Matching: Match job-ready clients with employment opportunities that match their skills and aspirations.
  • Employer Engagement: Engage with employers to understand their recruitment needs and provide them with suitable candidates.
  • Vacancy Management: Manage vacancies attained from employers, including vacancy assessment, advertising, pre-screening, and referring suitable candidates.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers, and relevant agencies.
  • Ability to assess labor market demand and supply and build strategies to address this.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated high-level professionalism, attention to detail, and compliance-focused attitude.
  • Ability to interpret contractual guidelines and apply as appropriate.
  • Ability to work within stringent KPIs and demonstrated experience in exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment.
  • Solid computer literacy and data management skills.
  • Satisfactory completion of Police Check/s.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Employment Services or Marketing would be advantageous.
  • Solid experience in Employment Services and an understanding of strategies to address barriers to employment.
  • Knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and procedures.
