Culinary Operations Specialist

Bacar, a contemporary dining restaurant at Pullman Sydney Olympic Park, is seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join its kitchen team.

The RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Demi Chef to assist the chef in charge in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing mise en place for all relevant menus, maintaining high standards of food production, and providing excellent customer service.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the chef in charge to ensure the efficient running of the kitchen.
- Prepare mise en place for all relevant menus.
- Maintain high standards of food production and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest feedback is actioned.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 1 year's experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel or restaurant with high food quality standards. You should also possess the ability to operate various kitchen equipment, practice sound cooking techniques, and maintain good food hygiene and safety knowledge.

- Good food hygiene and safety knowledge, including safe and accurate knife skills.
- Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent qualification.
