Job Title: Director, Valuation

We're seeking a Director to join our high-performing team in Adelaide. As a senior member of our national Valuation & Advisory Services team, you'll work on some of Australia's best assets and contribute to our industry-leading valuation platform. You'll have direct access to senior leadership and contribute to their decision-making. Our best-in-class platforms will help you deliver exceptional services that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality advice and valuation services on time and in line with clients' requirements
  • Meet individual budgets and assist with preparing, monitoring, and updating budgets and forecasts for direct reports
  • Implement marketing initiatives and contribute to business development and client engagement by taking ownership of new and existing client relationships
  • Attend client and industry events to interact with clients and gain market and business knowledge
  • Undertake property valuations within your sector or market
  • Participate in portfolio valuations
  • Extract and analyze comparable sales evidence
  • Collaborate with other service lines across Colliers to complete valuation work for mutual clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Ongoing enhancement of internal databases
  • Seek and refer opportunities to other geographic locations and product lines
  • Mentor and support junior team members and support staff with their career development and progress
  • Manage invoice payments
Requirements:
  • Minimum Associate Member of the API and a Registered Valuer with at least 5 years' experience
  • Commercial awareness of the formulation and implementation of strategy
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability to generate information for sound business decisions
  • Computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel, Word, and Estate Master
  • Ability to deal with several matters and work to deadlines
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with key internal and external contacts
  • Ability to effectively lead a team
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior industry knowledge of the markets
  • Demonstrate property risk awareness and adherence to Colliers Assure, our in-house quality assurance methodology
