Job Title: Solutions Architect

Overview

A seasoned solutions architect will consult with clients and collaborate with internal teams to design cost-effective solutions incorporating technology hardware/software, technical services, and ongoing support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your proven experience in technical networking systems and platform deployment in a presales solution architecture capacity.
  • Work closely with sales teams to generate demand for refreshing and modernizing data networks, including campus, branch, SDWAN/WAN edge, and datacenter/cloud connectivity.
  • Transform customer requirements and proactive suggestions into costed, scoped professional services statements of work and bills of materials.
  • Develop project execution plans in collaboration with project managers and technical consultants/delivery engineers to ensure accuracy in professional services estimates.
  • Promote branded support services tied to OEM vendor hardware and software.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer counterparts.
  • Maintain close relationships with key vendors to stay current on networking technology developments and share these advancements directly with customers.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or business, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCxx, Aruba Certified X, Juniper Certified X, etc.
  • Certification and working knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
  • Safe Scaled Agile certification is advantageous.
Requirements
  • Advanced technical design, deployment, change implementation, testing, and day-to-day management of data networking infrastructure and associated control platforms.
  • Advanced project or program management experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong client engagement and consulting experience, along with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management.
  • Advanced experience in integrating solutions with business domains, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Experience developing, selling, and delivering technical solutions.
