Job Summary:
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as a Network Architect.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing secure and efficient IT networks. This role involves analyzing and evaluating current network systems, capacity, and performance.
A key aspect of this position is designing, planning, and developing network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, cloud, and hybrid environments. The successful candidate will also configure and install network hardware and software, including routers, firewalls, switches, and monitoring tools.
To succeed in this role, you will need to implement security measures including intrusion detection, encryption protocols, and patch management. You will also monitor system integrity, troubleshoot, and resolve technical faults across enterprise systems.
Regular audits of systems, including backup procedures and disaster recovery plans, will also be an essential part of your responsibilities. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT architecture, capacity planning, and system migrations.
Effective communication skills are crucial, as you will be required to document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures for compliance and continuity.
You will also support lifecycle upgrades, including procurement, vendor evaluation, and deployment of new technology. Finally, you will advise on technology strategy, integration, and cost optimization initiatives for infrastructure environments.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least five years of relevant experience in systems/network engineering.
- Strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills across multiple programming languages.
- Experience with software development methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to provide technical guidance and support.
