Operations Manager

LGM Industries is a leading provider of structural, mechanical, and piping (SMP) services in the Southwest of Western Australia. We specialize in fixed plant maintenance and capital projects for the resource and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all projects to achieve a positive outcome.
  • Manage and support project coordinators and supervisors in project execution and fabrication.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets and reporting on operational performance.
  • Approve project expenditure and claims.
  • Monitor and track operational functions, conduct reviews on compliance, performance, and lessons learned.
  • Develop and introduce new or revised improvements within areas of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Ability to connect with and manage personnel from both trades-based and tertiary backgrounds.
  • Experience and strong understanding of industry-specific safety management systems and their implementation.
  • Experience as a project leader with the ability to build a team culture and mindset of agility, accomplishment, and discipline.
  • Ability to make strategic business decisions based on company objectives.
  • Align resources based on operational need and company objectives.
  • Implement and support the development of the LGM Business Assurance System.
What We Offer
  • Trade or engineering background preferred.
  • Minimum five years' experience servicing the industrial and/or resource sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, especially MS Excel and MS Project.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
  • Understanding of contracts and commercial acumen.
  • High level of technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge or understanding of Project Management principles.
