About the Role**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable individual to lead our headspace Esperance Centre as the Centre Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the centre's operations, including staff performance, service delivery, and community engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead, develop, and oversee the delivery of mental health services to young people and their families.
- Communicate and promote HOPE's vision, strategic plan, and regional business plan to internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a supportive team environment and provide management oversight to headspace staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the headspace Esperance Centre, including recruitment and selection of new staff.
- Manage and supervise staff, monitor performance, and address performance issues effectively.
- Shape and structure a working environment that fosters high productivity and organisational success.
- Participate in and support other members of the headspace Esperance and Esperance team to undertake programs, education, and training.
**Requirements:**
- Commitment to working in culturally secure and competent ways.
- Degree-level qualifications in allied health, behavioural/social sciences, youth work, mental health nursing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in managing operational systems, staff performance, and community engagement.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people and professionals.
**Clearances:**
- Working with Children Check
- Current unrestricted WA Driver's licence
- National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
