Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our dedicated team in Hervey Bay. This role involves leading guests on exhilarating off-road excursions across K'gari (Fraser Island), a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will showcase the island's breathtaking scenery and unique ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct guided tours to popular destinations such as Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, and the Maheno Shipwreck.
  • Provide insightful commentary and share your enthusiasm for the island's natural wonders.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain and operate modern air-conditioned 4WD vehicles for guest transportation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for the outdoors and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. You should be an engaging communicator, capable of connecting with diverse groups of people. Previous experience in tour guiding or a related field is advantageous, along with a strong appreciation for K'gari's natural beauty.

Qualifications
