Job Title: Digital Library Manager
About the Role:
- Lead a team to manage digital environment and systems in libraries.
- Responsible for selection, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and ongoing management of library systems and digital environment including websites.
- Manage systems required for optimum library performance.
- Provide usage statistics of services and systems.
- Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to identify and implement new technologies enhancing customer service and digital inclusion.
About You:
- A genuine passion for library services and leadership.
- Experience helping shape the future of libraries through continuous improvement, innovation, and strategies genuinely impacting diverse communities.
- Self-starter, creative thinker, and collaborative leader translating current and emerging technologies into effective service delivery and programs meeting library needs now and into the future.
- Adaptable to technological change.
- Excellent technical skills supporting system management, maintenance, and development including Libraries Management System (KOHA).
- Strong people skills and understanding of technology.
- Passion for researching and developing technologies to support libraries' goals and initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in library services, information management, or similar relevant area.
- Leadership and financial experience.
- Effective communication providing high-level face-to-face customer service in public libraries or community settings.
