Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Technology Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development and experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment.

The Web Technology Lead will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of commercial content for our digital assets. This includes working closely with designers to convert their web-based work into functional, high-performing code.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of coding principles, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React JS. They will also have experience with version control systems like BitBucket and GitHub.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain code for sponsored immersive landing pages, content hubs, competition pages, and other related commercial development work
  • Coding, testing, documenting, researching, amending, refactoring, and delivering high-quality and secure code
  • Leading and mentoring developers in our studio environment
  • Collaborating with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Graphic Designers on web experiences
  • Working with version control systems like BitBucket and GitHub
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience in front-end development
  • 5 years of experience in front-end development in a fast-paced commercial or studio environment
  • Demonstrated skills in coding with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6, React JS, and package builders
  • Understanding of accessibility, maintainability, and ability to code independently
