Frontend Developer Opportunity
Serving as a key member of our team, this Frontend Developer role plays a pivotal part in shaping the company's digital presence. With a strong focus on user experience and collaboration, our ideal candidate will be skilled in designing and implementing responsive, accessible, and interactive user interfaces using modern front-end best practices.
About the Position
Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
Contribute to and evolve front-end design systems and component libraries to meet the demands of emerging technologies.
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and design discussions to uphold high standards of delivery.
Continuously improve front-end tooling, workflows, and development practices to drive innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and interactive user interfaces.
Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components.
Evolve front-end design systems and component libraries to meet business needs.
Engage in ongoing learning and skill development to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Essential Qualifications
6+ years of professional experience in front-end development, preferably in a consultancy or fast-paced delivery environment.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches (SCSS, CSS Modules, styled-components).
Experience with REST APIs and handling asynchronous data.
Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or Parcel).
Strong grasp of component-based architecture and front-end design patterns.
Proficiency with TypeScript.
Exposure to .NET-based platforms.
Comfortable working with Git and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Awareness of accessibility (a11y) standards and performance optimisation techniques.
