Mercy Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Place Dandenong. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care to residents, utilizing a holistic approach to meet their unique needs and preferences.
- Supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring resident-centered care and promoting positive outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recognized tertiary qualification in nursing.
- Proven experience working in residential aged care, with a focus on resident-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care, with a focus on resident safety and well-being.
