About the Role
">Seeking an experienced Associate to join our Melbourne team. The successful candidate will work directly with leading partners, advising on major energy and infrastructure projects across Australia.
">The role offers a unique opportunity to optimise approval pathways for new projects, conduct environmental assessments and planning appeals, develop biodiversity offsets and environmental licencing strategies, provide secondary approvals and neighbour agreements, and respond to environmental incidents.
">Key Responsibilities
">Working closely with our Property and Corporate teams, you will advise clients on full spectrum of environmental and planning issues, assist in optimising approval pathways for new projects, develop and implement environmental assessments and planning appeals strategies, manage biodiversity offsets and environmental licencing requirements, provide secondary approvals and neighbour agreements, and respond to environmental incidents.
">Requirements
">We seek a qualified lawyer with 3-6 years' post-qualification experience in environment and planning law, possessing strong interest in energy and infrastructure sectors, commercial awareness and strong organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and able to work in a fast-paced high-performing team.
