Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all operations at our Unanderra facility.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in the transport and logistics industry. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team, is essential for this position.

The successful applicant will play a vital role in staff supervision, compliance, and safety, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. They will be responsible for fostering proactive communication of job status and workloads to department needs and managing warehouse staff, including supervisors and operational personnel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight and coordination of all warehousing operations to ensure smooth and efficient running of activities
  • Proactive communication of job status and workloads to department needs

  • Adherence to company policies, load security protocols, WHS regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
  • Continuously review and improve warehouse processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Accurate maintenance of warehouse stock through regular stock takes and reconciliations

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in the transport and logistics industry
  • Strong emphasis on safety and compliance, with proactive identification and management of hazards and risks
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with ability to manage diverse team
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, compliance, and safety standards
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
