We seek a seasoned Performance Programmer to design captivating shows for our festival.

Key Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience curating or producing performance-based work, especially for festivals or large-scale cultural programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft programs engaging multiple age groups, especially children and parents.
  • A strong network of performers and performance companies, with experience negotiating and contracting talent.
Festival Schedule Overview
  • September: onboarding, reviewing festival structure, initiating programming.
  • October: reviewing grant applications, contacting key performance groups.
  • November: finalizing grant applications with the Program Coordinator, working with the Festival Education Manager to prepare materials for school integrations.
  • December: finalizing program and education integrations.
  • March 30 - April 12: participating in the festival to evaluate program impact, checking-in with artists.

The role is a project-based contract anticipated to require 100-200 hours of work, mainly at times chosen by the candidate.
