Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at World Courier (Aust) Pty. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics operations, with a strong focus on medical, pharmaceutical, and perishable goods.

  • Provide a 24 x 7 customer-focused service to ensure all shipments are managed in a timely manner.
  • Work independently as a member of the operations team to load, unload, and check the correctness and completeness of consignments during pickups and deliveries.
  • Allocate shipments and consult with dispatching on the best route available for timely delivery or pickup.
  • Compare the material received with the documentation forwarded to certify concordance or disagreement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and process information in a timely fashion.
  • Organize the collection and delivery of customer shipments, liaise with customers, agents, carriers, and other World Courier offices.
  • Support local operations and work closely with all internal and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience in logistics operations - medical, pharmaceutical, and perishable.
  • Strong international and domestic geographic knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of dangerous goods handling, imports, and exports processes, and statutory requirements.
  • Sound experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
