We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work with us on a full-time or part-time basis.
About the RoleThis role presents a fantastic opportunity for you to provide high-quality care to Australians across various locations. As a mobile clinician, you will be responsible for delivering diverse caseloads, utilising your skills and expertise to grow as a health professional. You will receive ongoing clinical support and mentoring from senior clinicians to help you achieve your goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support clients with Home Care Packages to maintain their independence at home through home assessments, equipment prescriptions, and home modifications.
- Focus on post-orthopaedic surgery within the Rehab in the home program.
- Provide support to clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries within the Hospital in the Home program.
- For Residential Aged Care clients, complete assessments, develop, implement, and manage programs, design and facilitate group programs, conduct individual sessions with residents, and prescribe equipment.
We are looking for a fully registered Occupational Therapist (AHPRA) or Limited Registered clinician (remote level), preferably with a minimum of one year's experience in a community or aged care setting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable travelling to clients across the region and have access to their own vehicle. kilometre reimbursement will be provided for travel.
