Immunology Research Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • A university degree in Science, Biomechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge gained through education, training, or experience.
  • Knowledge of research protocols, experimental design, and planning involved in developing research projects and reporting against milestones.
  • Demonstrated experience with techniques used to assess the adaptive immune system, including multiparameter flow cytometry and cell sorting, and single-cell multi-omic molecular assays.
  • Assisting in conducting research that contributes to a better understanding of the adaptive immune response, contributing where appropriate.
  • Supporting the conceptualization, design, and successful conduct of projects relevant for exploring the immune response in animal models and patient samples.
  • Preparing and contributing to technical reports, manuscripts for publication, and tenders or grants for external funding.
  • Managing the technical aspects of databases, animal monitoring, recording experiments, and protocols, ensuring research integrity in research databases.
