Principal Civil Engineering – Water

We are seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our water business team. This is an opportunity to be part of a team delivering innovative projects that make a real difference in communities.

The successful candidate will work on civil design for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs and water facilities. They will also build strong client relationships and provide solutions to clients both off and on site.

To succeed in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and experience working with water/wastewater industry standards and best practices. You should be highly organized with excellent technical and communication skills, able to lead and mentor a team and drive successful project outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and development of civil infrastructure projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Providing expert advice on water management and treatment processes
  • Developing and implementing sustainable solutions to meet client needs

As a Chartered Professional Engineer, you will have expertise in various aspects of civil engineering including study involvement, development, detailed design, analysis, construction/commissioning phase support and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

You will also have experience in scoping and developing engineering work packages including time-based estimates for deliverables, strengthening and growing existing client connections and supporting the building of relevant new relationships.
