Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team in Hawthorn East. As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in determining construction methodologies, producing programs, and reports for tender submissions and project control updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with management, tender, and project teams to deliver optimal program solutions.
  • Review tender documents for scope of works, contract requirements, and project timelines.
  • Provide practical programming advice to BMD teams, clients, and Joint Venture partners.
  • Produce programs that meet submission documents, with flexibility to operate in different programming software packages.
  • Participate in post-tender negotiations and work with operational teams to facilitate project handovers.
  • Understand and measure program/project performance, reporting on milestones, KPIs, and earned value.
  • Assist in contractual claims analysis and preparation.
Requirements
  • Well-developed communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal).
  • Proven knowledge of construction and engineering techniques and sequences.
  • Advanced knowledge of programming principles and skills to adapt across programming software packages.
  • Ability to prioritize commitments, outcomes, and deadlines across multiple projects and teams.
  • Exposure to various sectors, including civil, water, defense, and renewables.
