Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently.

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team. You can enjoy a flexible and balanced work life and support people in your community to live their best life possible.

The role involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Personal Care: Showering, dressing, grooming and medication administration
  2. Domestic Assistance: Light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  3. Social Support/Transportation: Social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  4. Availability Required: Sleepovers, shift work, weekend shifts
  5. Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids and other physical aids
  6. Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  7. Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
What You Will Need
  1. Australian Federal Police Clearance
  2. Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  3. NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  4. Current Australian Driver's Licence
  5. Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  6. Smartphone with internet access
