We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to contribute to the success of our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from initial drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout. A strong background in construction contracts and/or experience in the mining sector is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end contract process, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising contracts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Provide expert advice on contract terms, risk management, and compliance.
- Monitor and manage contract performance, including variations and claims.
- Resolve any contractual disputes that may arise, ensuring all parties' interests are protected.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract documents and correspondence.
- Support project teams with contract administration and ensure all contracts align with company policies and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract management, ideally within construction or mining industries.
- Strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
