Job Description

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building Curtin's thriving innovation ecosystem. This exciting opportunity is for a Marketing & Communications Consultant to help shape the future of Curtin's Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Trailblazer portfolios.

As a Marketing & Communications Consultant, you will collaborate with passionate staff, students, alumni, industry partners, and investors to deliver high-impact, creative campaigns. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering integrated marketing plans and campaigns across relevant channels, researching, writing, and amplifying the stories of our students, researchers, and alumni, managing digital marketing activities, tracking and evaluating campaign performance, and collaborating with the University's Brand, Marketing, and Media teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a relevant tertiary qualification and marketing experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels with cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and to provide a client-focused service to staff and stakeholders.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and contribute to team goals.
