Procurement and Finance Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to lead our procurement and finance functions in a dynamic government organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective management of procurement processes, ensuring compliance with government policies and legislation.
  • Assist with tender preparation, evaluation, and record management to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Oversee supplier governance, contract compliance, and ERP updates to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support purchasing functions, card acquittals, and reporting to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Provide backup support to Accounts Receivable and other finance tasks as needed.

About You:

  • Government sector experience is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong understanding of procurement policies, probity, and governance is crucial.
  • Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail, are required.
  • Strong communication skills to engage and guide stakeholders are necessary.
  • A finance degree or background is desirable, but not essential.
