About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Unity Game Developer to join our team at Aristocrat Technologies Australia P/L. As a Unity Game Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our innovative games, collaborating closely with a talented and diverse team to bring our ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to rapidly prototype games, ensuring a seamless and engaging player experience.
  • Contribute to game design and art as needed, utilizing your expertise in Unity to develop high-quality games.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and implement design principles, usability, and UI design best practices.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience in game development, with a focus on art, game design, and/or programming, or independently released game(s) publicly listed on the App Store/Google Play Games.
  • Strong knowledge of Unity for developing and prototyping a wide variety of game genres.
  • Proficient in creating and utilizing existing art assets and sprites for game prototyping, with experience in Photoshop (or similar 2D software) and animation software such as After Effects or Spine 2D highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental design principles, usability, flows, and UI design.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
  • Basic knowledge of source control software, specifically Unity Version Control.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with 3D software such as Blender or Maya.
  • Skills in UV mapping and texturing.
  • Experience with app advertisement.
  • Completed studies in art, design, digital media, or a related field.

Interview Process

You will be interviewed and asked to program a simple gameplay sequence on-site. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for the entire interview and programming process.
