As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training and gain relevant competencies while assisting in the construction, maintenance, and operation of equipment related to the Refrigeration Industry.
The position involves:
- Installation of refrigeration equipment
- Installation of air conditioning systems
- Decommissioning and commissioning of refrigeration systems
- Electrical controls and equipment management
To succeed as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice, you must:
- Hold a current driver's license and possess a reliable vehicle
- Be able to drive a manual vehicle
- Demonstrate physical fitness and be capable of performing manual handling tasks
- Have completed a Certificate II trade-related course
- Pass a Working With Children Check
- Possess good numeracy and literacy skills
